Hi, I’m Joshua Young, founder of Joshua Young Air Conditioning. I’m a 35-year-old East Coast native who made the move to Los Angeles in 2015, bringing with me years of hands-on HVAC experience and a strong work ethic built from the ground up.
I’ve been in the HVAC industry since 2009, when I first started working in student housing and earned my EPA certification to safely handle refrigerants. From there, I continued to develop my skills by working with licensed HVAC contractors on both the East Coast and West Coast. Those years gave me a deep understanding of air conditioning systems, real-world problem solving, and what it takes to deliver dependable service—especially when it matters most.
In 2016, I took the leap into business ownership and became a licensed HVAC contractor myself. I initially partnered with an investor to launch my first company. By 2019, after fulfilling the terms of that partnership, I made the decision to continue independently rather than sell the operation. That’s when I reintroduced the company under my own name—Joshua Young Air Conditioning.
Since then, we’ve proudly served West Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles area, completing thousands of projects and building lasting relationships with satisfied clients.
